Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Hangzhou, China, Lysotech is a joint venture between Lierda and the French semiconductor company Cortus. We design high-performance automotive-grade devices for safety-critical applications, built on the RISC-V architecture.
The European team leads core IP development, while the China team covers product definition, market development and delivery. Cortus is a Platinum Founding Member of the RISC-V Foundation and a strategic member of RISC-V International, with more than 20 years in chip design; over 16 billion devices containing Cortus processors and IP have been manufactured, and the company works across high-reliability markets including automotive, nuclear, avionics, payment security and industrial control. In China, Lierda brings a customer base of more than 200 OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in automotive electronics, together with automotive-grade quality certification, and supports market introduction, supply chain and customer service.
Lysotech builds on an in-house IP base spanning processor architecture, functional safety and cybersecurity. Core team members bring many years of experience in chip development, volume production and sales, including early work on CAN controller design, and the team covers the full path from architecture to production silicon.
Looking ahead, Lysotech will continue to focus on performance and functional safety, and to bring RISC-V-based automotive devices into a wider set of core vehicle applications, supporting a stable and resilient supply base for the automotive industry.
